Have you ever watched a spider Inside a window clear? His prey is on the outside Without a single fear. The spider is perplexed, He see's his prey right there But weaves his web for naught And captures only air. The bug just laughs and worries not The spider paces to and fro But gets some satisfaction From the fly-bye of a crow. [This message has been edited by Toerag (05-05-2010 11:18 AM).] |

LOL... The birds were having a great time taunting my cats... so we started going out onto the balcony... and that balcony railing immediately became less interesting to a bunch of birds? LOL The image of a perplexed spider... pure delight! *G* Loved this! |

Excellent! Reminds me of the time my parakete was sitting on the window ledge and a cat tried to get a meal on the fly. My mother kept really clean windows. Needless to say, it was quite comical watching the cat take a header and the bird never even flinched. Really! I don't know if the bird knew what was coming or he was just to stunned to react. Thanks for the memories. Peace. "We'll chase them like rats across the tundra." |
