Asking God Why |

God reached down and plucked me from a life where I thought I had a chance for more. He dropped me down into a place where no one has ever heard of war. I'm in the middle of folks who just get by. They want nothing else in life but to survive. A good garden, going to church, having a meal. They don't question other reasons for being alive. In the middle of folks who just get by maybe one day I'll stop asking God why. |

No, don't stop. He's always there, he just doesn't explain it very often. Peace. If tears could build a stairway and memories a lane, |

I want to do more than just get by... though that sometimes seems to be just enough. But I rarely, if ever, ask why? So where the hell does that put me? And do I really care? Thanks for the rambling thoughts. One of my favorite sayings...No matter where you go, there you are. So, you better like where you're at. "We'll chase them like rats across the tundra." |

If you are content with life, isn`t that enough? A nice poem that makes people think. |

No war, good garden, and church all sound good. Being rich in love can be more lasting and fulfilling than being rich in material possessions. |
