In all my years in all my travels never have I come across a town as dead as this the halls and walls of San Francisco do, by the bay, resemble it in a familiar way but never as old and never as cold as this place it's as if the souls the spirits that drift are unaware of the others here in this mist this myth of strange facts like why why here in this particular place in this particular frame of this particular human, race find them with no God a soft melancholic face why this country of all the countries the most agnostic the toast of the atheistic a realm of disbeliefs surrounded by statues resembling miscreant beings in socialist reliefs and so go the souls that I've seen in orbish double bubble form floating with ne're a trouble so silent so alone knowing only this space these cobblestones these walls these bricks have emptied their souls and become their faith |

interesting write...I wondered how you were going to finish off the loneliness of its essence and then I read this: "these cobblestones these walls these bricks have emptied their souls and become their faith" ...well done...you make that loneliness almost poignant |
