Begin strong guys
Only pace yourselves
Such a long trek today
The weather seems okay
Our training has been intense
Now in earnest, we can commence!

Make the best of your energy
And keep running till the finish line you see
Run with pride in this sea of mankind
And keep your hopes up, you be just fine
The race is on, few will shine
However being a part of this event
On your resume that is sent
Naturally, will prove to be time well spent!

I thank the LORD everyday
He has given me something to say
And to share with others,
My Friends, my sisters, my brothers!

To God Be the Glory!

I'm a running fool . . . Well, part of that is correct . . . I do understand the allure of running . . . I'm lucky to get around the block with my mutt.
