Is it love? as you neglect to ask “How was your day?” because yours was one from hell? as you foolishly begin to doubt his loving words - trust is an empty shell? Is it love? being needy and overly demanding to help with your womanly woes? being selfish and very self centered while constantly stepping on his toes? Is it love? when you forget to say “I love you” as you quickly hang up the phone? when you are stressed and words come out harshly in an angry tone? It must be love. because he patiently forgives and forgets the continuous faults that he sees. because he understands and supports me, trying to cope with having the big “C”. Thank you, my friend, for being my strength. I could not be doing this without you by my side. |

I often think when a person tells me they love me, they are telling me that they enjoy the time they spent with me. Perhaps love, perhaps not...James |
