Sometimes I cannot find the time To close my eyes and only dream But when the moon shines past clouds my thoughts dance all around Twirling onto my very bed sheets Its quite a nuisance. a pain, if you will To close my eyes and think of thoughts But never drift into a slumber forever tired. forever strained. I'll open my eyes. Not feel a comfort Yet the time has gone and past I have no time to regain sleep For the rush of day whisk me by My eyes will blur with my tears When I blink and hope to sleep Always dream. But gain no slumber. |

For so many years I have had problems falling asleep to one degree or another. It's a minor but persistent nuisance. Now I take meds for it. The meds sort of work and sort of don't. There may never be a solution to it really. Sometimes I'm hopeful, but I will probably have to more or less live with it. Yawns theatrically and laughs, or maybe snores?????? Hey, nobody's human! |

Yeah I might be prescribed with some sleeping meds. Its just getting ridiculous. I've only gotten 14 hours of sleep this past 3 days. Its quite annoying.. But thanks for reading. -Zach |
