Wrote a thousand lies Touched by the mentality of an angel How perfection shows me my faults Wrote a thousand lies to free my mind Interlaced with truth and pain I wrote a thousand lies to guard my heart Watched the tears run as I spoke I made a wish A thousand times past I've made my wish A thousand times gone Yet a thousand breaths have past Though I feel them all around me I am so alone Understand why I cry now Why my heart beats silent now We can stand forever and hold still Like statues we battle the elements Though as proven again and again Time will always win My thousand lies protects my thousand secrets. "Everything has its beauty but not everyone sees it." |

I like the way you tie the thousand lies back in again at the end...in a very interesting form...nicely done |
