up another size I’ve learned that life goes on and lies up another size I’ve learned that no one really tries up another size I’ve learned that few are very wise up another size I’ve learned that all the grays are skies up another size I’ve learned I need to dietize and shrink the negativity that comes with my humanity |

Very well expressed in a succinct style....I like the use of metaphor and comparisons between weight/humanity.... |

Hello steavenr, I would have been sad to ignore your so wise poem...Thbese are great lines that reflect with accuracy and perfection lot of human thinkings...The poems works artfully and give clear clues to considerations we all have I guess..It was a very enjoyable read and a moment of deep thinking... have a nice day yann |

I would have to agree with Honeybee. Her comments summed up this poem completely. |

Yo Steavenr, Perhaps I misunderstood what you were saying. To me, it sounded like you were gaining weight and growing out of your clothes. Skinny Bobby [This message has been edited by Robert E. Jordan (04-16-2010 12:19 PM).] |

Bobby, the write is simply a metaphor for how the gaining of personal knowledge (if any clothing is involved) seems to always increase one's hat size and thus causes a look at others in a negative light. We seem to see others in a less than caring manner by looking down at them...as far as clothing and weight gain...I have already taken care of that in very physical way... ![]() |
