I visit my mother and fold my body like a letter to slip it into the envelope of my boyhood bed birds and light were the alarm clocks of my childhood now I awake in the darkness where memories jostle for position like unalphabetized obituaries my mother makes an early breakfast and I drive home to find my son still sleeping poetry podcasts, blogs and photopoems at URL= http://anthonyarmstrong.ca |

wow...another gem...I just love this stanza: "now I awake in the darkness where memories jostle for position like unalphabetized obituaries" I love the way your words introduce themselves as visuals...nicely done |
