Love Put to Rest "A love that didn't pass the test. A love put to rest."... Hearts have to let go you know, for cause, for circumstance, for reasons of desire or no desire. Sometimes letting go becomes fahionable in season, for the lack of love, for the needs of love, for the grief of love, for a multitude of reasons. Sometimes letting go of love is the choice that is best, sometimes letting go of love is the only choice thats left. Loving or not so loving hearts, a circumstance being addressed, the feelings of pain, the sadness of feeling alone, sometimes due to a death. A love who's time is past, a love that didn't pass the test, there always comes a time to put a love to rest. JamesLee 11April 2010 Holding On/ Letting Go 6of7 |

Well done... I like this one through and through. I think we've all had to put a "love to rest" for various reasons, and your words have said it best. Thanks for sharing. "We'll chase them like rats across the tundra." |

I like this and I feel that it is well written, but if you would permit me one comment it would be for just a little more...buried in the write is a couplet of "sometimes letting go of love"...just feel that you could have built a stronger crescendo by adding one more "letting go of love"...giving one more to add to the two you have done so well...excellent write |
