The liaison of two souls The kind that takes a spill and frill And leaves you gushing for a smile So sharp and forward, that the corner street Listens and whistles in anticipation for your next move. A sudden encounter of two souls, Books flying, hair gliding, twirling, Curling like her sewn Aubrey dress Flailing after the taxi as it speeds away to another avenue For lost time is no factor, No answer to your immediate stare As they gaze through the black widow eyes For the split second, a missed cab, Can leave you with a kiss so epic The children of the air sleep for one more second. |
