World of White

Magical, the mounting song of winter snow
Twirled in nature’s breath, innocuous emotions blow
Let to be light, a dusting of centuries swift and bright

New moon glows into shadows once hidden, once din
Intimate the story told, aglow without as once within
To lay in blanket soft, a quiet scattering of dreams aloft

As day discloses new; and strong limbs line horizons fair
Beneath but sleeps the next, just jubilant beyond sun’s stare
As kept to rest, undaunted and undressed; while world of white aware
The simple passage of humble spirit, spritely magnified and waiting there
