Yes, I shine magnificently but do not be fooled friends for that is the shine of the broken mirror I wear upon my face, my mask reflecting only what you want to see I have become living art. -Trina Better to write for yourself and have no public, than to write for the public and have no self. |

Well don't think you're the only one. There's a host of broken mirrors out there but I thought this was a superb way to describe the honesty of self examination.. Be a shame in many ways if we were all the same work of living art.....No fun there....smile... Eric in a relationship the me becomes we. |

Broken mirrors can be, especially in this so-called modern age, be repaired. All it takes is time, patience, and love's super glue. ~ Life is sexually transmitted ~ |

Love this Trina, I pictured you as a reflective mosaic. Too cool! Lori |

One could be flip and say, Come on now, there's always been a lot of posing on the Internet, even in the pre-visuals days. Doesn't mean it's desirable, it just is that way recently. With so many actors, sometimes you gotta dance, but that doesn't mean you can't pick good music. A well-put poem and lots more succinct than this rambling reply... |

I thought I had replied to this, Trina. It is beautiful, sensitive and honest. Thank you for trusting us and opening up your inner feelings. Owl |

Rina, we all wear the masks, some of us better than others, but we all do. I try not to hide my masks, trying for the what-you-see-is-what-you-get. If we allow our masks to become us it can be a problem. I haven't see you around here or Facebook for a while. Hang in there, okay? Write if you need to. ~ Look hard behind you and you'll be able to maneuver around the pitfalls ahead of you. ~ |
