Whisper of the wind

Hear the sound of the whistling wind
Moving wistfully amongst the trees
It carries me away and i'm back again
To ponder upon life's mystery

Sailed the world on the seven seas
To far away places i have been
And as life unfolds itself before me
Are things really as they seem

What is true, what is real
Wherefore and when, how and why
The secrets of time will they unveil
Where does the answer lie

I look for it but all i see
Are shadows of the deep
And find myself falling, falling
Falling deep, deep, deep, deep
Into the uncharted realm of sleep
As i drift away into dreams
And the whisper of the wind telling me
Let it go, set it free
Let it blossom, let it be

The answer there lies
You seek to know
Of such are riches
Within one's soul

I open my eyes to the wondrous sun
A sky of blue in transparency
Invisible things since the break of dawn
There before, are clearly seen

Be open and free, and love will come
Flowing through a garden of lilies
It shall bloom like the cedars of lebanon
In the land of eternal peace
