PROBABLY WON’T GET SHOT DEAD OR OTHERWISE 4 February 2011 It was there, you know . . . the way, I mean, despite the dangers. Yes, there it was – I just had to extricate it - and clear the bushes and undergrowth and pull some thorns out of my skin - and gently tug it at the corners and smooth it in the middle and trampoline-test it out. I think the destination is just over that hill or the next . . . or the next . . . and I think their life and mine will remain intact and I promise to monitor the situation. Owl |

Hah! You lost me, but that is quite normal for me. By the way, this is JerryPat, I have problems with my other identity. A black cat ran in front of me tonight. I'm not worried. They don't bother Warlocks. |

I love the conclusive inconclusiveness of this one...might not understand it all, but, then again, still maintain understanding is not as important as appreciating...good write |

Thank you, Jerry. Whilst I can understand the frustration with the technological aspects of "problems with your other identity", I couldn't help giggling (and forgive me, in the light of the frustration with the technological aspects) at the ambiguity of what you said - especially as you so very specifically DON'T have problems with knowing who you are, especially not since October 2010. This poem is very obscure, and I doubt that there is any clue for anyone to guess what it is about which is xenophobic harassment at one of the buildings I manage. With any hint of modesty thrown to the wind, I think the strategy I put together to the best of my ability, has been structured carefully enough to solve the problem or move towards solving it, without loss of life to the foreigners or me - or a hit of any kind. I am sorta proud of myself – if it all works. Thank you, Steaven. Yes, I, too, would much prefer to enjoy and appreciate a poem, than understand it. As you see above, there was probably no possible clue to its subject. Smiles. Owl |
