Her black burka
covered all but her eyes
as she advocated for change,
on camera,
in a country torn asunder.
What change will come to her...
I wonder.

It'll get worse. Women there for the most part are treated like cattle.

I wonder too Ida...I wonder too. The ominous tone of this poem is captured in very few words. Women have also through out history have made the ultimate sacrifices to bring about changes for all women. This is a very thoughtful piece.
