soft-spoken sunset o’er a field of haze like lengthening shadows glistening yellow tints of shadows comfort the dusk while fog-fingers scratch the palm of calm’s surrender to the foray of nocturnal bliss awakening the drones of discord to rapturous symphonies ere short-lived rays of morning hope whisper like love-drenched echoes of serene repose gleaming and glimmering o’er pools of nature’s tears shed not so much in pain, but to paint the canvass in liquidity porous only to the carelessness of its caretakers waiting for yet another hazy, sunset day waiting for yet another hazy, sunset day |

wow...this is really great...i love how you ended it...the repetition works really well...a finely penned poem! There must be a poem in here somewhere. |

thank you, Faith, every once in a while (usually when I have far less to say than words to express it) my muse tends to talk me into a repeat...glad you noticed it and commented on it...I always argue against using it...so, my muse thanks you...I suppose |

Whew! This is just what I needed after the day that I have had today. Thank you, Steaven. As usual, I found an excuse to read it twice. Owl |
