Not my best, I know. I was just curious what you thought. Its pretty straight forward... -Jaki H The Pitfalls of Perfection ------------------- I work for weeks on projects that were meant to take days But the A is never good enough- I want the A plus I see only faults and my way is best, its not worth the effort unless it dazzles all like an addict, I am caught on a drug too hard to quit the harder I work, the more they come to expect. they say “perfect” is a good thing but for me it is a curse because no matter what I do, what I say, how hard I work, nothing will ever be quite perfect and I can never win. |

there's a lot of people that way ... perfection comes after learning from mistakes ... be satisfied with just doing your best ![]() enjoyed your thoughts |

Nothing perfect in this old world. Such demands make you too hard on yourself. This is not a bad write, you got your point across very well. Eric ain't doin nothin at all just answerin the call |

good job of elaborating on what most would consider the "simple" pursuit of perfection. |

a wise man once said that perfection could best be described as maturity, not flawlessness...so, with that in mind, the better advice might simply be...just write on (which you have done quite well) |

Nice...I thought about the movie "Black Swan" when I read this...a woman seeking perfection and driven to imperfection...James |

Nothing is wrong with perfection, except being consumed with it. |

Nothing is ever "perfect",else how would you reach the top? Do not drive yourself to do anything but your very best. It may be that you are not the one to judge your own work. You will drive yourself too hard and that will lead to your failure. best to you.latearrival |

Thanks for the feedback guys! I know youre all right... its bad to expect absolute perfection. i just cant help it, even though i know its bad :/ I feel like so many people have this problem today... its sad but its hard to stop this kind of thinking, with all the competition and stories of failure i always hear... |
