cascading waves of sea-dance waste sun sipping from the fountain of furtive waters brining in the midst of promises kept strands of garland mark the hero’s track as clouds of sand-work meet the handiwork of God legions of rock-dust inhale the soul and the sigh that breathes out walks alone in customs that do not breed humanity that breach the psyche and unhinge the heart of hope in solitary alignment unknown to the compass of fear confining ability to the vestibule of promises yearned for, but never welcome at the scene of the sea as waves cascade with sea-dance waste leaving their wake on the path not taken |

Oh, Steaven, I am there, breathless with all 6 senses on tip-toe, and I have absolutely no intention of leaving. I don’t need to regret the path not taken, nor the demise of the hero, nor the solitude, nor the hopelessness, if I can stay here forever, encircled by this living, breathing theatre that stretches all around me to the very edges of eternity. Legions of time awash in this elegant well presented poem. I love the honesty and capture of the power in this. Eric the assured expectation of things hoped for, the evident demonstration of reality though not beheld |
