 In a world that is often full of chaos and hate I found shelter in you Surrounded by the evil doings of others Somehow I found a love that is true As the storm rages on around us We have found peace in one another Battles continue on outside our door Yet we have a love like no other The wind howls under a dark moon I only see stars in your eyes The rain pounds against the ground Between us though only beautiful blue skies Stormy seas toss the boats high into the air Tranquil waves we drift upon in an open sea Gravity sucks everything into its black hole Everything but you and me Madness consumes the world, as spirits slowly die I feel our hearts beat in rhythm as one The air around us full of acid, as the sun gets hotter We are oblivious to any of that, our lives have just begun Lives ripped apart as though tiny pieces of paper We remain strong and true The dark clouds closing in on our atmosphere I see only you "we have but a moment...only one moment" |
