That can happen, Jerry! Great condensation of mood rendering. You also reminded me of dragging home yesterday a bottle of 1,5 l of "Nero d'Avola", red Sicilian wine for my two men ... Euro 3,05! In the store next to my home it is Euro 4,07!! The intent was to economize, but it was also exercise! (Walking and carrying weight) Margherita |

Seems the wine industry thrives within the poetical community, Margherita. Thanks for stopping by with your two bottles. Heehee ~*~ If they give you lined paper, write sideways ~*~ |

Oh, I have had that kind of wine.. it comes in a twist top bottle, or in a juice box. Wonderful, how just a few words can spark the interest of many people..poetry does that I guess...I guess that's why I love it. |

Got plastered - uh, way beyond Plastered on cheap wine (Thunderbird - 25 cents a bottle) laying on the beach with a bunch of other sailors almost under the roller coaster at The Pike in Long Beach, Calif., way back in the early '60's ... Haven't been able to stomach, and can barely stand the smell of wine, any wine, since. Sometimes I really feel I'm missing something...(ha!! not really) Liked the write and the memory it brought!! j. |

I was there in the early sixties, j. I wasn't a sailor, I was a vagabond, but I was there. Had a few swallows of Thunderbird too, but I was into Beam and water and whatever kind of speed I could score. Thanks for stopping by, man. ~*~ If they give you lined paper, write sideways ~*~ |
