DAWN NEEDING DUSK 17 January 2012 After a day such as today of weighted onslaughts of sledge hammers from east and west and pinsharp darts from north and south and earthquakes from under and rockfalls from above, my aching body sinks into your moonlight arms strong and gentle and ever-there and more luxurious than a bubble bath, your warm breath whispering magic everythings into my eager ears your lips more intoxicating than the sweetest wine, your smiling eyes caressing the innermost essence of my waiting soul, and in a nanosecond you paint all memory of my war-torn day gone and you sweep me into the enchantment of a night of you and me. Thanks, Michael. Giggles, I don't think he would appeal to you in quite the same way as he does to me! I could have done without the north, south, east and west bit, though! Owl |
