Thick white cotton candies Float amidst baby blues Crisp fragrance of new books A brand new pair of shoes Pretty stars that twinkle On cloak of midnight blue A walk amongst flowers That bloom for me and you The fresh breeze that ruffles Hair as it gently blew The glorious sun shining On lazy afternoons Many pretty dresses Aroma of perfume Beautiful love ballads All sung in perfect tune Cool air on winter's morn Misty breath that we blew Cold hands on warm cheeks laid Lest the tips should turn blue You ask me "is this all?" I really have no clue These are only some things I really love to do _,,,^.^,,,_ |

Thoroughly enjoyed this poem. Liked the concise, metered lines. Loved the rhyming. Best of all I liked the whimsical happiness I detected throughout. ~*~ If they give you lined paper, write sideways ~*~ |
