GREY-GREEN LONGING
9 January 2012

And here I sit on a log
in a dank forest
on a dismal, grey-heart day
and the soft beauty
of the blending forest-colours
is too much for me
without you beside me
on this log that misses you too
and I close my eyes
and remember you back
here
with me
in swirl-branch embraces
and mind-talk gazes
as deep as our toes
and kisses
beyond forever.

Melancholy, wishful poem that most of us can identify with. I liked the setting, sitting on a log in the forest.

Thank you, Jerry.

Have to type quickly before computer crashes again. To anyone else who replies to this or any other previous poem of mine - have serious computer problems - laptop old - may need to get new one (or demo model or 2ndhand one). May not be sorted out for a week or more. Will reply to replies when I can.

Have to type quickly. Computer crashing continuously. Probably have new one by end of next week. Also now have to press Spacebar between 1 and 10 times.

Probably won't be in again till computer sorted.

I just got a new computer myself. It's nice to have something that works properly so I can enjoy such lovely writing. Hope your are back with us soon.

Thank you, Ida, for your compassionate reply.

Lilian, the laptop still needs major surgery, but is feeling much better, after her previous surgery.

I now have a desktop, but it is taking a while, as it always does, to get it the way I want it.  However, it works!  But now I have so much work to catch up on, so may not be able to be in Pip as much as I would like, for a while anyway.
