I hold nothing back from you
riptides of black as sin secrets
I bequeath unto you with love
because you are my soul mate
on uncertain cloudy, wet days
or sunshine bright I am yours
we are bound together as one
because of you I feel as a man
I've a spell that binds my heart
your words are in tune with me
you understand me and I, you
I press my lips upon your kiss
our burdens are now our gentle
we steal time for our grappling
continuing to tell all our secrets
sometimes our bodies do quake
deep inside our dark insecurities
cautiously sigh out breath smiles
I clutch and grasp your identity
reacting to your breath so sweet
I feel your ambiance trespassing
filling my body and my very soul
my sweetheart you're in all of me
our surreptitious meetings of lust
back and forth the power of desire
exploding and shuddering delight
in our hush-hush meetings we do
you have given me more than any
and you say you need my love too
I understand about the other love
I do, I truly do; even so it is hard
when my thoughts take me there
where they should never, ever be
so here we are in limbo together
taking from each other our goal
in this new year our love will last

I had to go back to work from being on vacation and it stinks, because I don't get to read as much poetry as I'd like...

This is such a dance of different emotions and the give and take of devotion underlying it all.  I love this

Very captivating, dear Jerry. You quiver with love and with love's emotions whose ripples expand and touch the whole of your life.

Great work!

Wow...
Did I say Wow yet?
Man, this is true art.  Love-art in poetry.
This is beautiful, Mr.

JL, many thanks go out to you for these comments. I know that "thank you" is what we all say, but I mean it, your comments made my day.

Yes, Ms E., I am really in love. I heard that sigh all the way down here in the swamp.
