They were stones of the lovers lane where west met a near death onto the river of the shaped sides Her brown jacket was an ode to autumns past with her shoulder lining against the rim of the sun and quietly, like the steps of night against the backdrop of her wooden door she paused for the sky to take hold A stone for a lover lining with autumns heart she remembered his eyes, unraveling along autumns past |

"Her brown jacket was an ode to autumns past with her shoulder lining against the rim of the sun and quietly, like the steps of night against the backdrop of her wooden door she paused for the sky to take hold" Replete with shadows I could envision this scene. Great read. JL Love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind. Love your neighbor as yourself. |

She blends beautifully into Nature in the colour and mood of Autumn and the nearing of the end of the year and her life in this poem that seems to me to be the 2nd of a series of 4. Owl |
