These are Flaming Azaleas in this picture we took on the trip.

Staying in a mountain resort
by the name of Massanutten
Traveled everyday
on parts of the Sky Line Drive
Hiked a beautiful mountain
trail to Dark Hollow Falls
Saw the Flaming Azaleas
Rhododendron, and
the pink mountain Laurels
2 black bears came out
to visit and run back into
the forest
A mother skunk and her
5 babies crossed the road
right in front of us
Saw groundhogs galore
Mother deer and their fawns
Sunset on the Sky Line
is a sight to behold
This is a trip
that I will never forget

Sounds like much fun. Thanks for the commentary. Now we can visualize some of what you saw.
