it gets in your bones
won't leave you alone
drink your hot coffee
hope the chill will flee
you bundle up warn
against winter's storm
hoping for the sun
warming bones is fun

Right JP
"warming bones is fun"

Thats why I have an ice fishing suit, called "ice armor"

Never get cold when I have that on out on the ice..

But there is something about a southern winter in this poem.
It seems in the south the winter consists of nothern Novembers, and it chills the owner of bones to the core.

Stay warm Jerry

Good morning Ice. Appreciate all your thoughts about my little poem. That "ice armor" sounds great.

Bundle up buddy!  I hate it when you get a chill that you can't quite warm up.  Here have a hug maybe that will help.

Thanks, JL. You're in Texas and it's four degrees? Must be up around Amarillo. Thank for checking with me and you're welcome for the warmth.

I could certainly go for that "sun warming the bones"  (wish something would also 'warm' the spirit though) ...

Ah, would that I could conjure up some warmth for the spirit, secondhanddreampoet. I understand how the spirit can succumb to the chill as well as the physical body. Been there. Done that. No fun.

Thank you very much for taking the time to read and comment on my poetry, it is very much appreciated.
