Arise at the Gates of Madness All ye who enter here Venture forth Into the dark corners of my mind From the Elysian fields all the way To the fiery pits of Tartarus This duality of good and evil Persists within Calling out for no one to hear Like the dread voices In my head I take my damnation As a plight of holy judgement To wander the borders Of human insanity To maintain This delicate balance For all eternity... Like Night needs Day |

"To wander the borders Of human insanity To maintain This delicate balance For all eternity..." Wow. I'm not sure I would agree with your living on that border, but you say it so well in your poetry; it's almost compelling. JL Love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind. Love your neighbor as yourself. |

Jean-Phillippe...I can relate to this poem very much, having felt that way many times when the thin line of reality and fantasy is nothing more than a thread...Paul Thanks for e mailing me. ~~To share my poems with you is to share my heart with you~~ |
