When springtime music wakens and sweetly plays again My heart remains entwined with yours as it has always been When perfume from the blooms of spring drift softly on the air I’ll tenderly send you my love upon a whispered prayer When the summer sunlight glows and trees begin to sway My thoughts will be of you my love, ‘twill ever be that way When the glow of twilight starts replacing skies of blue My soul remains enchanted from the times I’ve spent with you When we’re apart and autumn leaves drift softly on the breeze It wakes the longing in my heart and stirs my memories When the chilly winds of fall blow lightly, crisp, and clear Within my dreams, in warm embrace, you always will be near When winter’s arms caress the land with cold and icy touch I‘ll have the warmth, of you I’ve come to love so very much When the snow falls softly over all the frozen land I’ll draw you close beside me as I gently hold your hand When the seasons come to pass as years may come and go Then you can always rest assured I still will love you so |

The tender touches of a special love come to life here in these line, and I read it thinking how wonderful it is to feel the hand of the one you love take yours, and keep it for the duration. It's obvious the heart was taken captive a long time ago! |
