I pick up the phone Dial your number just to hear you say… Hello I’m too afraid to say… I miss you! Instead I cry into the phone And hang up I know you will call back You always do You ask me if I’m ok I hear HER in the background Through my tears, I say just fine Bye I want to scream at you I love you!! Some time ago She came between us……. I run into you at the market “How are you!” you say “Peachy” I laugh I look into your eyes I find the courage to say “I miss you!” You reach for me As I wipe away my tears “I miss you too!” She and I broke up some time ago… "Happiness is a state of your own mind!" |
