Listening to every heart

Happy Birthday, Darlin’ Girl

One of these days,
you might run across this
ditty, think it’s a
little pretty then realize it
was for you.

Happy Birthday, darlin’ girl.

I’m sorry for any misunderstandings;
I know peace was tried and
becoming tired from fractions
of inconsequential factions,

the fractional piece
of peace, simply disappeared.

Happy birthday, darlin’ girl.

But whatever actions caused
the fractions, the fact is,
you’re still thought of and loved
and beloved,

and though you will never
admit to your part in this play,
that’s okay, for my heart
has survived, so please,
accept my wishes for a

Happy birthday, darlin’ girl.

I will always love you.

Sis

I can feel your heart in this birthday poem and I am sure your "Darlin' Girl" will feel it too, dear Karilea.

Beautiful and sensitive, containing a mission.

May it all work out.

Love,
Margherita

Oh boy, do I understand this, Karilea!  I am so sorry for your pain and glad that you take the stance you do.

In my case, it is my beloved daughter in Australia and it has gone on unabated for over 20 years.  I have tried everything, but nothing works.  Sadly she is determined to promote the image of a daughter (in spite of my devotion to both my children from the moment I knew I was pregnant with each of them) whose mother "wasn't there for her!"  Since her (second) divorce and some years later the children being put into the custody of their father, I have as good access as possible, taking the distance between South Africa and Australia into account, to my darling grandchildren.

But the love continues... and is very evident in this beautiful write of wishes!!

This is heart-wrenching K... and beautiful in it rendering.  I believe the words will reach her.  They're so powerful how could they not?  ((hugs)) to you.
