The thought is simply perfect, dear Owl, and I do share in this prayer. There are world organizations to diminish poverty and yet it goes on for far too many! Those who have financial power think in terms of interests and gain, if there is no return they won't engage their resources. Many societies now have departments for "Corporate Social Responsibility" through which they sustain various projects in favor of the poor in the world, but it is not enough. Mentality needs to be changed. The way of thinking ... we need to be aware of being ONE BIG HUMAN COMMUNITY, where a dignified life of every single person must be priority. Your "receipt" is perfect indeed. May this consciousness manifest in all of our actions! Thank you, beautiful soul, for caring! Love and light. Margherita |

A wise Owl you are...........:-) "My prayer for all is luxury less poverty thus sufficiency" On thinking about this... Poverty will always exist as long as luxury for all is put up by society as a plausable, sustainable goal. The laws of nature say that balance will only sustain, every group of animals and plants must obey this rule, or perish. As always, I am guided by the laws of biology and botany...I have found the rules and laws of men to be corruptible, but not so mother natures.. See, Diana, you have made me think deeply, again over the messege found in (your) three short lines. That makes your poem a success in my book......:-) |

I'll second the prayer motion. I like how your numbers add up. (I hope you're a gifted mathematician! ![]() Love & Equality for all, Linda xo |

Thank you, Margherita. You are so right. The Zulus have a word, “ubuntu” (pronounced ooboontoo) which can be translated loosely as “for the community” and as in The Three Musketeers, “one for all and all for one” and this is exactly what you are saying. Only when we can all work together instead of against each other, will we have the full benefit of God’s gifts – as brain-storming gets more than the sum of the individual brains working individually – so “heart-storming” (ooh, I feel the birth pains of a poem about to be born) would give more than the sum of the individual hearts can give. Smiles, Ford. Thank you for seeing me as wise. I love how you translate so much into Nature’s terms – even more than I have done, but you have inspired me to do so more often. Yes, man is corruptible, but Mother Nature not. I have often put my own spin on it in comparing people with my animals – as regards trust, reliability, faithfulness, honesty, kindness, love, etc, etc, etc, but will now expand that further into the whole of Nature and in more aspects. I am heart-warmed that I have made you think, but see, Ford, YOU have made ME think too! Smiles. Thank you, Linda, for your understanding and support. I wouldn’t call myself a gifted mathematician – lover of maths, yes though. When I had to choose my final subjects for high school, I passionately wanted to choose Maths and Latin, having loved them and done well in them, but I had to choose between them and French, and I wanted even more passionately to do French so I sadly said goodbye to Maths and Latin.
