A Choice by Moral Indication I can’t say Thank you enough. I am not a weakling, but when I hear the rumbling sounds of planes overhead, the overwhelming words of allegiance, the sight of ships containing warriors, the tramping of boots by the thousands, My throat closes, green eyes well with tears, for all the voices of the children and young adults of our nation who have fearlessly taken on a choice by moral indication Who say "Yes! I will serve…" I know the toll it takes, on their spirit, their soul, and yet they persevere as if without fear, a choice by moral indication… when the flag of choice waves over this nation, when we are safe at home, and our children are at war and their families are left alone to wonder, worry, pray, and more I can’t say Thank you enough. To all of our Serving Men and Veterans… God Bless You, and keep you. ~*~ © KRJ 11-11-11 66829 |

You have a way of gleaning the hearts of many and putting a voice to them. Thank you for this beautiful piece. Lori |

Thank YOU, Sunshine. Sadly, many, many people look at our military as an evil thing. They are so, so wrong, and I sincerely hope they will never find out what it will be like in this country without a strong military, but one that this administrations continues to weaken. The dismantling of the world biggest bomb a few weeks ago is just one of those things he is doing to weaken us. ~*~ If they give you lined paper, write sideways ~*~ |

Dear respected Sunshine, Many of your words are true Often I get such emotions My heart will really shudder Pacifying it will be tough Wars cause great confusions Many lives get shattered Family may come to roads Brave people only we lose All those who die doing war Must be honored eternally Their family must be helped To compensate their departure Your poem is really touching I thank you for your write I endorse all your views fully Accept my best wishes kindly. Yours truly, mvvenkataraman |
