Most every gentleman's got a knack,
of filling his life like an empty sack.
But try as he may or try as he might,
he just can't be perfect both day and all night.


If there is one thing, it's so hard to do,
it's please everyone, the live long day though.
All men have one fault, that can be corrected,
A fault that's a need and they both are connected.


It seems there's a place where all people speed.
A toilet's the spot and we all have the need.
Trouble first started and caused the first frown,
A boy wants it up, but a girl wants it down.


A cure is not sure, but it seems such a shame,
Us men put it down and you women the same.
If women would try, friendly smiles on the spot,
I'm sure men would put down, the lid on the pot.

So we'll try our best, to make life complete.
We'll check to make sure, we put down the seat.
But if it's left up, mistake, though we try,
We lifted it up, to keep the seat dry.
