Can't hear the lapping of the
water. Can feel it though as I
began walking south, toward
Mexico. Can't walk to Mexico.
                    I'd drown.
The jet-black night has left,
Surreal orange covers the sky,
Aiding and abetting as it were,
in my insanity on parade.
                    No salutes.
Jetty rocks cut my bare feet.
Glad to be beyond them on
sandy bottom. Walk slowly.
long way to Mexico. Right.
                    Stop fool.
This Mexico trip wasn't
planned, I'd remember.
Still, there's no turning back.
C.C.R said it, Keep on Chooglin'.
                    Easy said.

This wouldn't be a good time to visit Mexico, Roniece, the whole country is caught up in vicious drug wars.
