nightfall disappears when the morning sun appears only to reappear at the close of another day night and day like so-called friends appear and disappear within our lives at their whim friends and lovers today but only frauds and impersonators they are with you beating their chests in admirations of us but leave us when things don't go their way fair-weather friends they are called rightly so they do not understand nor care that our hearts are breakable much like a glass bottom boat and can be sunk with words or deeds and especially disappearing when needed the most I have friends and especially a precious dear one to whom our friendship means more than casual it is built on trust friends such as these stick around and support and give what we can to the other ©October 31, 2011 / Jerry Pat Bolton ~*~ If they give you lined paper, write sideways ~*~ |
