So what are we doing Our brows touching In a dream Out of nowhere You appear as usual As if there were no years And nothing’s changed Still who am I To the deny this gift You bring— even if it is False memory wholly Unrelated to what is now Nibbling sandwiches together By a deep blue sea Leaves orange and yellow Falling from the trees . |
