Worth?

It's time to listen, hear it loud,
and try to read my lips;
the game of life is ending
and it's time to count your chips.

If you can touch your values
and the feel is clamy cold;
It's time to rearrange your thoughts.
and feed your hungry soul.

If all you crave, is me and mine,
your focus all on me;
Please follow for a moments flash
and try your best to see.

The only things of value
that will make your soul complete;
are mixed with love and sharing,
as you sow so shall you reap.

So gather all your loving seeds
and plant them everyday;
the love that feeds your hungry soul,
is love you give away.

While you're gathering up your chips
and counting what you've won;
your precious soul is all that's left,
until the game is done.

So if you want to live again
be careful what you say;
the counting starts the day you die,
and lasts till judgement day.

"The only things of value

Amen Brother!

I trusted even when I spoke: 'I am greatly afflicted.' I said in my haste: 'All men are liars.' How can I repay unto the LORD all His bountiful dealings toward me? I will lift up the cup of salvation, and call upon the name of the LORD. My vows will I pay unto the LORD, yea, in the presence of all His people. Precious in the sight of the LORD is the death of His saints. I beseech Thee, O LORD, for I am Thy servant; I am Thy servant, the son of Thy handmaid; Thou hast loosed my bands. I will offer to thee the sacrifice of thanksgiving, and will call upon the name of the LORD. I will pay my vows unto the LORD, yea, in the presence of all His people; In the courts of the LORD'S house, in the midst of thee, O Jerusalem. Hallelujah.
Psalms 116:10-19

Love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul,and with all your mind. Love your neighbor as yourself.
Maranatha!

How very true... and how beautifully written! *S*
