the moon ice-white the sky throbbing with stars their light frosting the trees beautiful clouds translucent whispery passing between old man moon and myself it is cold for October the wind flattening the leaves on the oak across the street wood frame houses with heavy curtains give them appearance of seclusion and peace as I look into the sky seeking my own freedom and peace I wonder if we seek the same only go about it differently could be the moon talks to me it says there will be an ending be it walking away or be it death so I revel in the night cold tho it is somehow I feel myself brought down with sadness as I look at the moon tonight like nights before and listening to the tick-tock of the clock. ~ Life is sexually transmitted ~ |

Built rather like my candle... This moon has been so intense I feel her leaving. |

This is quiver-magical, Jerry – encapsulating an exhilarating bond with Nature and a reaching out simultaneously to the essence of an individual and to all humanity, yet crying out with loneliness and sadness in its raw and honest beauty, but simultaneously heart-painting the human spirit’s greatest depth of awareness and hope. Exquisite! This is simultaneously macrocosmic and microcosmic in content – and in addition, in totality, a masterpiece yet paradoxically a tiny sparkling gem. You have inspired me to repost my Moon Patterns, My Study at Night and My Indigenous Garden. Owl |

I hear you on the moon, serenity. Thanks for sharing yourself with me. <><><> Spiros, appreciate the kind words, not all of them are recently written, although "Moontime" is. Thanks for being here. <><><> WoW! What can I say about your comment, but thanks for reading my effort and liking it, Owl. ~ Good health is merely the slowest possible rate at which one can die. ~ |
