Monkey's Uncle?

It often makes you wonder
what the teachers say today.
Where do they find the reason
for confusing things they say?

They teach the fact of life to all
and prove without a doubt;
that monkeys are relation,
their creation helped us out.

They have opposing fingers
and the way their head is shaped;
against all Bible teachings,
they still say we come from apes.

But questions rise before our eyes,
when did their life begin?
For God condemned whole tribes for sin,
Did monkeys come from men?

. . . but monkeys are without sin and all of them are beautiful.  I have often said (in a couple of poems too) that if humanity could rise to the civiilisation of monkeys (I see them in my indigenous forest garden almost every day), what a wonderful (Louis Armstrong) world we would have!
