She is Tide Upon the strand of possibility, promises writ on her body of sand are diffused with each cynical tide of incredulous ambiguity. Her azure eye of cornsilk sky blinks in idle scrutiny, unworded words dismissed as easily as writ words on sand fill. Her tide, the epitome of languid obscurity, erases each lessened confession until too, this supplicant gazes out and slowly rakes the sandy strand. Alicat 10-14-11 |

Excellent, Alicat. The tide of life can, and does erase our futility. ~* The saddest words of tongue or pen are the words It might have been.--John Greenleaf Whittier ~*~ |

Well, hello there, Mr. Cat! *S* It's good to see you posting! I passed through your area earlier this month... after an afternoon spent with the tide. *S* And now I know why it wasn't giving me poems... It was saving them for you! *S* |

Ah yes, but isn't it grand to live in this time, and especially along the coast of Texas. Even if times get bad, it's best to be where you are. I sure do miss the salty air, sea birds, and the friendly people. Enjoyed your "She is Tide". JL ![]() Love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind. Wow... nice to see you Ali, and as powerful as ever I see. Been feeling alot like sand being manipulated and reshaped by an immense tide myself of late. You symbolism in this is remarkable. This made my morning. Michael |
