THE SEAS ARE WIDE 16 October 2011 The flying-wind whispers of our yesterday rides and the sighs and the eyes and the wandering through our souls that sang magic and the love and desire we shared through changing seasons and grasslands of laughter and forests of bliss are painted in the sunset skies of our longing-tomorrow forever-memories. We were and we were and we were so much more than we ever imagined and so many full-moons longer than all those years ago, and the sun and the wind and the rain called us by name and missed us in our separate times, and celebrated with us in our smile-times but the oceans that become as one are wide and our sighs that bridge them in finger-tip moments in a rose-gold sky and echo and dance and touch eyes and advance and retire over and over and over again, are heavy in our empty hearts and our out-stretched arms and we sink wearing each other’s eyes on each side of the ocean into the dying of the sun.
