Fair to middlin' of nowhere

Stretching my imagination
in the mirror
Feeding the fantasy
doses of denial
Dismissing
droop and dimples
in light just right
Purposely posing
exposing views
of yesterday’s younger

Who says the mirror never lies?  We ARE what we feel, I say.  Good write, Lori... and I hope you are as beautiful to yourself as you are to the rest of us.

I never did get this right so I'll try again. Your poem is a natural progression and inspection we all subject ourselves to from time to time.

I've often wondered who the heck that was looking at me from inside the mirror...

Nice, being reflective.
