I laid on the living room floor, staring out the window. It was an ending for August, but september will take it's place. I could almost feel fall, but the sun shook the sensation from my body. The sun weaved it's rays through the leaves and danced on to the floor, moving softly across my arm. The air was filled with water sprinklers and fresh cut grass. Yet always smell like a juicy, ripe watermelon, that I could almost taste it. The day was silent with wind and leaves brushing against each other. As birds dash across the sky, I stare at the tree near the window. Where helicopter seeds fly down hitting me in the head hard, fast and with percising. |

Sounds like a lazy summer afternoon. It's pretty nice to look back at some of the joys of being a kid. Enjoyed your write. JL Love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind. Love your neighbor as yourself. |

You had marvelous powers of observation and the ability to put them to paper at a young age! *S* |
