Symbiosis in rapture You seem to know the moment when we both need cuddles, so you use that mellifluous voice of yours to get my attention and you always succeed, even if I am busy trying to concentrate on things that are important to me but absolutely pointless to you … You know better! I follow you then as you hurry to the place of your choice where it’s comfortable for both to align. You want the warmth of my hands all over you, with that soft pressure that makes you stretch in delight. I close my eyes then and exhale deep into your neck until its burning hot. You adore that! You then push your head into my palm, while I press my ear upon the exact point in your heart area where your love song echoes the loudest … and I listen and listen till my breath aligns to yours and we penetrate each other’s consciousness ready for the synchronized launch into Universe, into its profound peace, into its infinite harmony, into its loving embrace. Thus we remain in sensuous rapture in loving surrendering to what is. You seem to know secret ways to inner joy and you express it with that enchanting tone that recalls a primordial sound of creation. Magically the world looks all right again. Our voices may be different, you purr and I hum but to my ears the combined sound becomes OM …… OOOOOOM. * Dedicated with love to Zelda, my cosmic cat. |

You then push your head into my palm, while I press my ear upon the exact point in your heart area where your love song echoes the loudest … and I listen and listen till my breath aligns to yours I had a moment like this with Colin earlier today (Kate is a wigglesquirm who loves cuddling to me but likes more control than she gets when I hold her *G*)... and they are right... whatever we were concentrating on wasn't as important as concentrating on unconditional and overwhelming love. *S* |

Thank you so much, dear Ruth, for your loving comment and for sharing your own experience with your two sweeties Colin and Kate. They can be quite different indeed in the manifestation of their love. This is Zelda ... in position! |

Yes, dear Margherita..in perfect snychronized harmony..cats are so intuitive--they hardly ever make a false move--and when they leap they always land where the will. Poignant read! Al |

You have captured it well. The insistence and the persistence is oh so pleadingly pitiful and always must be done her way. She is the one in control. |

Oh, she's lovely!!! Please tell Zelda she's admired across the world! (of course... being a cat, she knows that already! LOL) |

Thank you, dear Al, for your kind comment. I see you know cats. I think they really are psychic, as I have had stunning experiences with them, especially with my cat King Mizar I, who is now in heaven. He still visits often in dreams ... Dear James, thank you for enjoying my Zelda poem! Wow, dear Krawdad, "pleadingly pitiful" is the right expression! One cannot resist! Thank you so much for your loving comment. Haha, dear Ruth, yes she is aware of her ascendant! She sends a friendly miaow across the world for you and for Colin and Kate. Thank you for liking her, I love that white end of her fluffy tail! Thank you, dear Jimmy, for your kindness. Love, Margherita |

I would like to see what T.S. Eliot would say about Zelda.. I bet he could write a good discriptive poem about her..but you have pictured the cat well, and perhaps he would find it hard to improve what you wrote. "The Naming of Cats is a difficult matter, It isn't just one of your holiday games; You may think at first I'm as mad as a hatter When I tell you, a cat must have THREE DIFFERENT NAMES" If you had to do it, what two other names would you give Zelda? I enjoyed the poem. |

Thank you so much, dear JL, for your generous comment! Dear Ford, thank you for your kind and intriguing comment! Three names ... I agree, you can't define a cat by only one name. I will think about it! I called her Zelda, because she immediately associated her "genius" with total "craziness" and I thought of Zelda Fitzgerald wife of Francis Scott F. Just a few lines like these can't describe a cat in detail, this exuberant "girl" who in the meantime just these days has celebrated her 10th birthday and isn't a girl anymore, is a daily inspiration! Ah here is the second name I can give her: "ELECTRA" after one of the seven sisters of the Pleiades ... Perfect! Love, Margherita |

My son says the fitting third name would be HEIDI (the little girl of the famous novel of Swiss author Johanna Spyri) and if you know Heidi you know about her exuberance and joyfulness and of her beautiful heart. Yes this name too is great for Zelda ... after all mommy is Swiss ). |
