A RUBBISH BIN LID LIKE MINE
14 September 2011

Who has as gloriously-scented
a rubbish bin lid as I –
dotted with little yellow fluff-flowers
soaked in God’s honey?

This is a joyous peek into the little treasures that surround you!

Even "gloriously-scented" it is, unique!

So lovely.

Love,

Thanks, Margherita!  Yes, I doubt that many people have a rubbish bin lid like mine - or while my 2 Acacia xanthophloeas bloom.  Giggles.

Nice view of your blooming trees.

Is that where all those singing biscuits hang-out?

Enjoyed the read.

JL, you know I adore that little birdie!  Delighted giggles at him viewing my blooming trees!  Yes (more giggles) those are two of the many, many trees where the singing biscuits hang out.  Beeeeg smiles.

Members of this genus that grow in my temporate zone are covered with thorns. I suppose this species is also like covered.

But the poem is soft and beautiful, your mind can touch it without getting stung...:-)

Oh, my goodness!  Ford, this is SO like my Acacia xanthophloea trees!  Difficult to say without anything to measure against, but I think our flowers are a little smaller and the thorns are incredibly long!  I don't walk under any of my Acacias, eSPECially the Acacia xanthophloeas, without at least slops (flip flops) on, and on several occasions I have had a thorn piercing my slops and one of my feet!  However, it is easy to get these thorns out because they are so long - there is lots to hold on to, to pull out.

Thank you for finding this, Ford, so anyone who reads this can see the little yellow fluff-balls!

Thank you also for your lovely comments about my poem.

You find beauty even at the rubbish bin... how open your heart and eyes (and nose *G*) are! *S*

Giggles, Ruth, yes, I am very blessed to be able to.  Thank you.
