I can feel it stir
From deep inside
That all consuming feeling
Heat that rises from within
I know what's coming
But I've lost control
The burning rises
From my molten core
You touch me and I melt
I can stand it no more
So I rip off my clothes
And I bare myself to you

Was I consumed by passion?
Over come with lust?
If only this were true!
I wipe the perspiration
From my heated face
And beg you not to touch
Stupid hot flashes!
Damn menopause!

Gosh, dear Karen, you really deviated my thoughts powerfully!

This is a "hot" outburst, I would say!

You also reminded me instantly of my beloved Mom who did just what you did, even in cold winter evenings, she ran out of the house to cool down. (I was lucky, never had any flash ... only changes of mood and increased melancholy ...).

May you find a natural remedy.

LOL! Marg, if you ever had a hot-flash, then you would believe in spontanous human combustion! Well I'm almost over them now anyway (I hope!)
