Mirror

Mirror, mirror
On the wall
Who is the fairest
Of them all?
I see me
But it couldn''t be
For I am
Not perfect
Tis a lie
On the surface
Everybody
Makes mistakes
Everybody
Sometimes feels hate
So mirror, mirror
On the wall
Why do you
Lie to us all?

Huummmm...

I bet others see you in a much better light!
-----

Someone once told me:
"Hey you look cute in the dark."
Sad thing about that was that it took me several years to realize what was meant by that remark.

Enjoyed the write.

Mistakes are natural, that's how we grow,
I lol because the mirror reminds me of my mistakes, often,
I enjoyed your poem, Ms. E

no record can mirror keep
never sees more than skin deep
cannot tell what dwells inside
does not know the world you hide
