SO REAL 10 September 2011 I heard your voice and turned my head to the window from whence you called and I looked unblinkingly for mystic bonding minutes full into the glory of the sun beaming in all its magnificence through my forest trees and caressing summer leaves with a translucent golden-green glow Owl |

This accelerated my heart-beat for its intense beauty. You really transmit emotions so powerfully, that I seem to live your experience myself, dear Diana. Love, Margherita |

The moment was real for you... and you make it so real for us I felt tempted to shade my eyes. Beautiful, beautiful! |

Thank you, Margherita, for living my poetry so well. Thank you, flash. Thank you, JL. I am delighted you found it intriguing. Smiles. Thank you, Ruth, for finding it “so real”. Smiles. Thank you, luminosity. Your “not sure why” is intriguing and perhaps your muse could make a poem of it – not about my poem, but all of your “not sure why’s.” Thank you, Aenea, for finding the heart of the poem. Of course, I don’t mind you putting it in your library! I am very honoured. Thank you for that too. Owl |

Yep. I remember when Dottie died two years ago in February. Two days after her death I heard her call out, "Jerry, Darlin'." I not only heard it, but my dog did also. I am pretty sure you read the poem I wrote about it. Just saying, I believe in the dead reaching out. Never did before. Do now. ~~ "Government is not reason; it is not eloquent. It is force. Like fire, it is a dangerous servant and a fearful master." --George Washington ~~ |

Thank you eg. Thank you, Jerry. Yes I remember that poem of yours and the incident very well. Whilst this poem is not about somebody who has passed on, I, too, believe implicitly in being able to communicate with loved ones who have passed on. I communicate many times every day with Flicka, Tigger and Daisy, my horse, my cat and my dog in Heaven. I would be shattered if I couldn't. My bond with them is immortal and life-sustaining. I know that when I die, I will join them and all the other animals to whom I have belonged. Owl |
